Important information about buying tickets:
Unfortunately, once a slot has been purchased, it cannot be changed or exchanged. Please ensure that all members of your group book the same time slot together if you wish to start at the same time. If a slot does not have enough available tickets, group members may need to choose separate time slots.
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
Once a slot is sold out, no additional tickets will be available due to strict visitor limits for organisational and safety reasons.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable Hiking Gear: Sturdy hiking boots/shoes suitable for a 50 km distance.
- Backpack: Lightweight and comfortable.
- Navigation Tools: Fully charged smartphone (for emergencies).
- Snacks & Drinks: Your favorite personal snacks and drinks.
- Hydration: Water reservoir or water bottles.
- Clothing: Weather-appropriate clothing for a 50 km hike.
- Emergency Supplies: First aid kit.
Spectators: Free of charge.
Further Information:
Accommodation: Explore a variety of hotels, youth hostels, or holiday homes in the area.
Booking Process:
- Upon successful payment, an e-ticket with a QR code will be emailed to you.
- Present the printed or mobile e-ticket at the check-in desk.
- Note: No tickets will be sold at the event location.
Admission Procedure:
- Arrive at the Larei (starting point) 20 minutes before your scheduled start time.
- Have your e-ticket ready for inspection.
Post-Hike Amenities:
- Changing rooms and showers will be available after the hike.
Catering:
Before the Start: Coffee and sandwiches will be available for purchase (not included in the ticket).
During the Hike: Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be provided at designated points.
After the Hike: Drinks and hot food will be available for purchase (not included in the ticket).
Parking & Public Transport:
By Car:
- Park at the Larei parking lot (opposite the starting point) or the nearby dam wall parking lot.
By Bus:
- Public buses to Vianden run hourly from Ettelbruck/Diekirch (lines 180/181) and from Clervaux (line 182).
- Closest stops: Vianden, Aale Moart (181 & 182) or Vianden Gare (180).
- All buses in Luxembourg are free of charge. Find schedules at mobiliteit.lu.
