1. How do I get to Vianden?

By Car

From Luxembourg City:
-Take the A7 motorway heading north.
-Follow the signs to Ettelbrück and then to Vianden.

From Clervaux:
-Leave Clervaux in a south-easterly direction on the N18.
-Follow the N18 as far as Marnach and from here follow the E421 towards Diekirch.
-At the roundabout “Schinker” follow the signs to Vianden

From Bitburg:
-Coming from Bitburg, follow the B50 main road and the signs to Vianden.

By Public Transport

To visit Vianden by public transport, we advise to take a train from Luxembourg City or Liège to Ettelbruck ,Diekirch or Clervaux train station.

Bus 180 (Ettelbrück/Bitburg):
If you decide to travel by bus 180 from Ettelbrück (train station) or Bitburg (ZOB), get off at the “Vianden, Place Engelmann” stop, if the castle is your first stop. In case, you want to discovery in the heart of Vianden, get off at “Vianden,Breck or “Vianden, Gare”

Bus 181 (Ettelbrück/Obereisenbach):
Bus 181 starts either in Ettelbrück (train station) or in the opposite direction in Obereisenbach. In both cases, get off at the bus stop “Vianden, Breck” or “Vianden,Gare”.

Bus 182 (Clervaux):
Bus 182 runs from Clervaux (train station) to Vianden. Get off either at “Vianden, Breck”or ” Viande, Gare”  and start exploring the historic heart of Vianden.

Bus 188 (Diekrich):
 Hourly service from Diekirch (railway station) to Vianden with magnificent scenery en route. Get off at the ‘Vianden, Place Engelmann’ stop to visit the castle, or at ‘Vianden, Breck’ or ‘Vianden, Gare’ to discover the old town centre.

2. Where can I park in Vianden?
