This easy hike leads idyllicly along the Our River. After a short walk in the forest, you will take historic paths towards Vianden Castle, before starting your descent towards the old fortified tower and the current bell tower, the Hockelsturm.

The Autopedestre Vianden starts at the cemetery near the dam. The path climbs through the forest to Schënbierg. Once you arrive at Schënbierg, you walk to the top station of the Vianden chairlift. From here you have a magnificent view of Vianden. After a detour, you return to the starting point by walking in the footsteps of Victor Hugo.
