The starting point for Nat’Our Route 4 is located in Bivels, not far from Vianden, in a magnificent meander of the Our. From here, the path takes you to the wooded heights around the town. Enjoy the view of the Our loop and Falkenstein Castle on the other bank. You will continue your route towards Niklosbierg¸ Mount Saint-Nicolas and tour the upper basin of the hydroelectric power station. This impressive building was built between 1954 and 1964 and is used to produce electricity.

The starting point for Nat’Our Route 5 is located at the car park at the Vianden exit, in the direction of Bivels. From here the path takes you to the top station of the Vianden chairlift, a unique attraction on a national scale. You will then pass through a dense forest and descend towards machine 10 of the hydroelectric power station. Built in 1970, it is used to produce electrical energy, like the other machines at the power station.

Diversion from the hiking trail: Nat'Our Route 6. Due to the work, part of the path is closed! Please use the diversion provided on site. Attention ! This deviation extends the path by +- 4.5 km. After a short climb to the Beim Fändelchen viewpoint, the path takes you to the Scheierhaff. From here you will enjoy a magnificent view of Vianden Castle. You now enter the Kammerwald forest. You will walk along old smugglers' trails and pass by century-old oak trees. The most beautiful and oldest of them is called Königseiche, “royal oak”. more than 350 years old, it has an impressive diameter of 5 meters and a height of 32 meters.
